The Center for Educational Networking (CEN) is an Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Mandated Activities Project of the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services (OSE-EIS). As a statewide education information network, CEN provides products and services that assist education stakeholders to improve outcomes of ALL Michigan students.

Improving the educational outcomes of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is a CEN priority. CEN strives to:

  • Increase awareness of special education issues and resources related to the delivery of programs and services for students with IEPs.
  • Provide information and services to impact educational programs and services for ALL students.

CEN offers publications and documents in print and electronic formats that provide information and opportunities to tap into a vast statewide and national resource network.
