According to Edna Felmlee, Michigan State University, “Judy Winter’s book Breakthrough Parenting for Children with Special Needs: Raising the Bar of Expectations requires me to alter my beliefs and my instruction of academic content to special education teachers and adds another dimension to the preparation of teachers working with special need students. In fact, Breakthrough Parenting requires all teachers to think differently when working with parents and families of children with special needs. As professionals, we need to raise the bar when interacting with parents. Thank you, Judy, for this insightful, thought-provoking, and attitude-changing book.”
